MOU SIGNING CEREMONY BETWEEN LBS AND ORIENTAL HOLDINGS BERHAD FOR MELAKA MIXED-USED INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT

On 15th May 2025, LBS Bina Group Berhad entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Oriental Holdings Berhad. Both parties are collaborating on a mixed-use industrial development project in Melaka, with an estimated gross development value (GDV) exceeding RM7 billion.

The MOU outlines a proposed integrated mixed-use industrial development project mainly comprising industrial, and commercial units in Klebang, Melaka. Klebang is selected due to its strategic location within the Straits of Melaka Waterfront Economic Zone (SM-WEZ), which offers significant growth potential through its coastal accessibility, expanding infrastructure, and alignment with Melaka’s long-term economic transformation agenda.

Witnessed by the Chief Minister of Melaka, YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh, this signing ceremony essentially underscores the project’s pivotal role in driving Melaka’s economic growth and urban transformation. The presence of the Chief Minister instils strong confidence in the Proposed Development and demonstrates the government’s steadfast dedication to its success, solidifying its position as a major catalyst for Melaka’s future prosperity.

26th April 2025, LBS proudly unveiled the grand prize winners, who walked away with hotel vouchers worth up to RM250,000 in total. These exclusive vouchers are redeemable at top-rated hotels in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Pahang, Penang, and Johor, offering winners a perfect opportunity for a well-deserved local getaway.

The event took place during the lively Raya KITA Fest, held at the LBS Discovery Gallery KITA @ Cybersouth. The highlight of the event was the official prize presentation ceremony, where Dato’ Cynthia Lim, Executive Director of LBS, personally handed over mock cheques to the lucky winners.

PAHANG STATE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, CHINA GREAT WALL INDUSTRY CORPORATION, AND LESTARI ANGKASA SIGN LETTER OF INTENT FOR SPACE PROJECT COOPERATION IN MALAYSIA

14th April 2025, Pahang State Economic Development Corporation (PKNP), China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC), and Lestari Angkasa Sdn Bhd (subsidiary of LBS) officially signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to explore strategic cooperation in the development of space initiatives in Malaysia.

The signing of the LOI took place at Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur and was witnessed by the Chief Minister of Pahang, YAB Dato’ Sri Diraja Haji Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, Pahang Investment, Industries, Science, Technology and Innovation Committee Chairman, YB Dato’ Mohamad Nizar bin Dato’ Sri Mohamad Najib, and LBS Group Executive Chairman, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Ir. (Dr.) Lim Hock San, along with officials from CGWIC.

On 5th February 2025, LBS Bina hosted a vibrant Chinese New Year Luncheon at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, with the esteemed presence of the Sultan of Pahang, His Royal Highness, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah and His Royal Highness The Crown Prince of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

LBS and Partners Embark On 10GW Green Hydrogen Facility Development Project In Sabah

YBhg. Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe, Minister of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship of Sabah, attended the MOU Signing Ceremony, joined by Tan Sri Ir. (Dr.) Lim Hock San, Group Executive Chairman of LBS, Datuk Wira Joey Lim Hock Guan, CEO of LBS, Dr. Firdausi Suffian, CEO of Sabah Invest Bhd, Senator Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Anifah Aman, Chairman of Sabah Invest Bhd, Datuk Hamild Awang, Chairman of SAFODA, and Mr. Bahrul Razha Chupat, GM of SAFODA.

The framework of this MOU entails the development and construction of a green hydrogen production facility powered by solar and wind energy as well as a future green industrial park on a potential site ranging from 15,000 acres to 30,000 acres in Kota Marudu, Sabah.
