LBS INKS MOU WITH SANY GROUP TO COLLABORATE ON PROPERTY AND PORT PROJECTS WORTH RM11 BILLION
Development of 10,000 units of properties across Asia and port-related businesses
Petaling Jaya, 1 April 2023 – LBS Bina Group Berhad (“LBS” or the “Group”), a renowned property developer in Malaysia, today announced that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with SANY Group Co., Ltd. (“SANY Group”), a global leader in the engineering machinery manufacturing industry, ranked by Forbes as the 468th largest company in the world.
Based in China, SANY Group is the world’s second largest heavy equipment manufacturer, known for their innovative and high-quality products. SANY Group is a leading high-end equipment manufacturer principally involved in general construction activities with over 20 R&D centres, automobile manufacturing, port machinery, new energy industries, architectural design, industrial internet, and the manufacturing of precast concrete products, with service networks in over 150 countries.
Under the terms of the MOU, LBS and SANY Group are to collaborate to (a) jointly explore SANY Group’s latest structural system for the development of 10,000 units of properties across Asia, with a total project value of approximately RM3 billion; and (b) jointly explore, research and plan for an intelligent deep-water port in Malacca and build a One-Stop Industrial 4.0 Hub Port in the Malacca Waterfront Economic Zone (M-WEZ) comprising of free trade zones, and oil and liquefied natural gas industrial park and other port-related businesses using SANY Group’s expertise, that will amount to a total investment value of approximately RM8 billion.
The signing of the momentous MOU took place in China World Hotel Beijing, with esteemed LBS Executive Chairman, Tan Sri Lim Hock San signing on behalf of LBS. Representing SANY Group was the distinguished President, Mr. Tang Xiu Guo. The ceremony was elevated by the presence of several distinguished guests, including the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Transport Minister, YB Tuan Anthony Loke, the Local Government Development Minister, YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming, the International Trade and Industry Minister, YB Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, the Science and Technology Minister, YB Tuan Chang Lih Kang, the Foreign Minister, YB Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir, and the Tourism Minister, YB Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, who all bore witness to the historic signing.
This MOU shall be effective from 1 April 2023 and valid for a period of one (1) year with an automatic extension for a further period of one (1) year, unless extended or renewed by mutual agreement of the Parties in writing.
LBS Executive Chairman Tan Sri Lim Hock San said, “We have had a long-standing fruitful relationship with the SANY Group, tracing back to 2017 when we entered into a joint venture with them to kickstart our IBS precast concrete plants. We are pleased to continue to collaborate with SANY Group to explore our synergies in both property development across Asia and industry and port development in Malacca.
We aim to work towards becoming a leading developer across the region which we hope to achieve through the use of IBS precast concrete. In addition, there is plenty of potential in Malacca and we are optimistic we would be able to contribute towards growing the economy within the state through the development of an industrial port.”

Berpengkalan di China, SANY Group merupakan syarikat pengeluar peralatan berat kedua terbesar di dunia dan terkenal dengan produk inovatif dan berkualiti tinggi. SANY Group juga merupakan pengeluar utama peralatan berteknologi tinggi dan terlibat dalam aktiviti pembinaan am dengan 20 buah pusat penyelidikan serta pembangunan (R&D), pembuatan kereta, peralatan mesin pelabuhan, industri tenaga baharu, reka bentuk seni bina, internet industri dan pengeluar produk konkrit pratuang dengan jalinan kerjasama di 150 buah negara.
Menerusi perjanjian tersebut, LBS dan SANY Group akan bekerjasama untuk (a) meneroka sistem struktur terkini SANY Group bagi membangunkan 10,000 unit hartanah di seluruh Asia, dengan jumlah nilai projek kira-kira RM3 bilion; dan (b) bersama-sama meneroka, menyelidik dan merancang pelabuhan pintar laut dalam di Melaka dan membina pusat setempat Hab Pelabuhan Industri 4.0 di Zon Ekonomi Persisiran Pantai Melaka (M-WEZ), yang terdiri daripada zon perdagangan bebas, minyak dan taman perindustrian cecair gas asli serta perniagaan berkaitan pelabuhan yang menggunakan kepakaran, dengan jumlah pelaburan kira-kira RM8 bilion.
Majlis menandatangani Perjanjian ini telah diadakan di China World Hotel Beijing, China di mana Pengerusi Eksekutif, Tan Sri Lim Hock San telah menandatangani bagi pihak LBS manakala SANY Group diwakili oleh Presiden, Tang Xiu Guo. Majlis bersejarah tersebut turut disaksikan oleh Perdana Menteri Malaysia, YAB Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim dan barisan jemaah menteri termasuk Menteri Pengangkutan, YB Tuan Anthony Loke, Menteri Pembangunan Kerajaan Tempatan, YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming, Menteri Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri, YB Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Menteri Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi, YB Tuan Chang Lih Kang, Menteri Luar Negeri, YB Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir, dan Menteri Pelancongan, Seni & Budaya, YB Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing.
Perjanjian tersebut akan berkuatkuasa pada 1 April 2023 selama satu (1) tahun dengan lanjutan secara automatik untuk tempoh satu (1) tahun lagi, melainkan perjanjian tersebut diperbaharui dan dipersetujui oleh kedua-dua pihak.

（八打灵再也1日讯）马来西亚知名房地产发展商林木生集团（LBS）今日宣布，与全球工程机械制造业领先业者，亦在福布斯全球企业当中，排名第468位的三一集团（SANY Group Co., Ltd.）签署谅解备忘录（MOU）。
三一集团总部位于中国，是全球第二大重型设备制造商，以其创新和高质量产品而闻名于世。三一集团是一家领先的高端装备制造商，主要从事建筑活动，有20多个研发中心、汽车制造、新能源业、建筑设计、工业互联网、以及预制混凝土产品制造，服务150多个国家。
根据谅解备忘录的条款，林木生集团和三一集团将进行合作，第一、共同探索三一集团的最新结构系统，以在亚洲发展1万间房产，项目总值约30亿令吉；第二、联手探索、研究和规划马六甲智能深水港，并利用三一集团的专业知识，在马六甲州滨水区经济走廊（M-WEZ）建立一个一站式工业4.0中心港口，包括自由贸易区、石油与液化天然气工业园、以及其他港口相关业务，总投资价值约80亿令吉。
此谅解备忘录签署仪式位于中国进行，由林木生集团执行主席丹斯里林福山和三一集团总裁唐修国代表签署。见证者包括首相拿督斯里安华、交通部长陆兆福、地方政府发展部长倪可敏、贸工部长拿督斯里东姑扎夫鲁、科学、工艺及革新部长郑立槺、外交部长拿督斯里赞比里、及旅游、艺术及文化部长拿督斯里张庆信。
此谅解备忘录将从2023年4月1日起生效，有效期为1年，并自动额外延长1年，或经双方书面同意延期或续期。
