LBS Foundation Terus Konsisten Hulurkan Bantuan
Sumbangan RM40,000 Kepada Golongan Yang Terkesan
Petaling Jaya, 15.07.2021 – LBS Foundation, sebuah badan yang mengendalikan aktiviti tanggungjawab korporat sosial bagi Kumpulan LBS Bina baru-baru ini telah mengambil inisiatif untuk menghulurkan sumbangan kepada beberapa buah badan NGO serta individu-individu yang terkesan dari penularan pandemik di samping kekangan dari perlaksanaan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Diperketatkan (PKPD).
Antara penerima sumbangan termasuk rumah Persatuan Kebajikan Chen Ai, Petaling Jaya yang terdiri dari golongan orang kurang upaya dan golongan warga emas yang mengalami gangguan mental, kerosakan tulang belakang, ketidakupayaan pembelajaran, Autisme dan gejala-gejala lain. Sumbangan dari LBS Foundation ini digunakan bagi membantu kakitangan serta para penghuni rumah kebajikan tersebut di dalam menampung keperluan perbelanjaan bulanan.
Selain dari itu, pada awal Jun lepas, LBS Foundation turut menyumbang beberapa unit katil hospital serta wang tunai kepada Unit Kecemasan di Hospital Banting, Selangor. Sumbangan ini digunakan bagi membantu sedikit sebanyak keperluan hospital di dalam menangani kes-kes COVID-19 yang dirujuk kepada hospital tersebut yang berstatus rujukan hibrid.
Pada masa yang sama, LBS Foundation juga menyalurkan sumbangan kepada Yayasan Taiwan Buddhist Tzu Chi Malaysia untuk membantu dana solidariti bagi menampung keperluan perubatan di beberapa buah hospital dan seterusnya disalurkan kepada keluarga B40 yang terjejas dengan pandemik COVID-19.
Tidak hanya membataskan bantuan kepada organisasi serta badan kebajikan berkaitan, LBS Foundation juga telah mengenalpasti 13 buah keluarga di sekitar Selangor, Kuala Lumpur dan Pulau Pinang di mana pendapatan mereka teruk terjejas ekoran pandemik serta memerlukan pelbagai jenis bantuan, baik dari segi keperluan harian mahupun perubatan. Menerusi kerjasama yang dijalin dengan Pharmaniaga Berhad, keluarga-keluarga yang tersenarai bakal menerima sumbangan wang tunai serta bekalan perubatan asas bagi kegunaan harian.
Lembaga Pemegang Amanah LBS Foundation, Tan Sri Lim Hock San berkata “kesan dari penularan COVID-19 telah menjejaskan kehidupan sesetengah masyarakat dan benar-benar mengubah kehidupan mereka. Kami berharap sumbangan ini dapat mengurangkan beban mereka yang terkesan di samping menggalakkan semua lapisan masyarakat yang berkemampuan untuk turut membuat sumbangan bagi membantu golongan yang memerlukan di sepanjang tempoh sukar ini.”

LBS Foundation Stays Consistent to Helping the Needy
Donation of RM40,000 to the Affected
Petaling Jaya, 15.07.2021 – LBS Foundation, an organization that manages the corporate social responsibility activities for LBS Bina Group, has recently took the initiative to make donations to a number of NGOs as well as individuals who were affected by the pandemic in addition to the constraints caused by the implementation of the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).
Among the recipients of donations include the Persatuan Kebajikan Chen Ai, in Petaling Jaya which comprises of the disabled and the elderlies who suffer from mental disorders, spinal cord injuries, learning disabilities, Autism and other conditions. The donations from LBS Foundation are used to aid the staff as well as residents of the welfare home in covering their monthly expenses.
Aside from that, in June this year, LBS Foundation also contributed a few units of hospital beds and monetary donation to the Emergency Unit at Banting Hospital, Selangor. This contribution is used to help in some of the hospital’s needs in dealing with COVID-19 cases referred to the hospital which has a hybrid referral status.
Simultaneously, LBS Foundation also made donations to Tzu Chi Malaysia Taiwan Buddhist Foundation to help the Malaysia Solidarity COVID-19 Fund in covering for the medical needs in several hospitals and subsequently channeled to B40 families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Not limited to assisting organizations and relevant charities, LBS Foundation also managed to get in touch with 13 families within Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Pulau Pinang whereby their incomes have been severely affected by the pandemic and are in serious need of various forms of assistance, be it in terms of daily essentials or medical needs. Through the collaboration with Pharmaniaga Berhad, the families listed will receive cash donations as well as basic medical supplies for daily use.
LBS Foundation Board of Trustees, Tan Sri Lim Hock San said “The effects of the COVID-19 outbreak have negatively impacted the lives of some communities and have completely overturned their lives. We hope that this contribution will lessen the burden of those affected as well as serve as a form of encouragement for the communities that are capable of contributing to assist the needy during these challenging times.”

同时,该基金会也捐献给台湾佛教慈济基金会马来西亚分会,以帮助后者 所设的马来西亚新冠肺炎团结基金筹募,向几家医院捐赠医疗物资,以及 援助受疫情影响的 B40 家庭。
除了协助多个机构和慈善单位,林木生集团基金会亦协助雪兰莪、吉隆坡 和槟城合计 13 户家庭。这些家庭的收入受到疫情严重影响,急需各种形 式的援助,包括日常必需品和医疗需求。通过与发马(Pharmaniaga Berhad)的合作,受惠家庭将获得捐献和捐赠日常使用的基本医疗用品。
