Yesterday
LBS has a distinct pedigree which dates back to 1980s when Dato’ Seri Lim Bock Seng - a young and aggressive man with vision - founded the original construction business in Petaling Jaya. LBS subsequently ventured into the property development sector in 1992.
One of its initial projects was the Jelapang Maju Light Industrial Park, an 83-acre piece of land located in Jelapang, Ipoh, a well-received development in the market at that time. Another notable project was the Taman Perindustrian Bukit Serdang Seksyen 14, Selangor where LBS joint ventured with several 1992 Thomas Cup players to unite the pieces of land presented by the then Selangor Chief Minister (Menteri Besar) to these distinguished Malaysian sportsmen.

Today
The pure essence of the LBS Group is to push the boundaries, add value across a broad spectrum and dare to challenge the norm.
The Group has expanded rapidly after its listing on Bursa Malaysia through a reverse takeover. This takeover has also extended LBS’ wing across the globe into Zhuhai, China.
Presently LBS Group has operation in the Klang Valley, Perak, Pahang and Johor in Malaysia as well as in Zhuhai, China.
Despite LBS venturing into other business such as investment holding, property management, turfing and landscape contracting, insurance agent, trading in building materials and selling of membership cards covering personal insurance, property development still continue to be the main activity of the Group.
The shape of LBS is constantly changing as new markets are embraced, but the unique LBS way of incorporating in-depth attention to detail and service remains.
